Traditional Asian Medicine ~
Traditional Asian Medicine Treatment: After a thorough interview to discuss your health concerns and wellness goals, you will receive a treatment based on assement of your needs which will include all or some of the various modalities available: acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, tuina bodywork, essential oils. Treatment plans will vary based on need; however it's helpful to plan on at least 4 sessions in a row to create a good foundation for healing.
Wellness Consultation: Your healing journey is a partnership between you, your health practitioners and your community. Everything in your life contributes to your healing (or impedes it). Therefore, we will explore practices that you can incorporate in your daily life that will contribute to your good health: diet, exercise, qi gong, herbs, qi gong as a restorative movement practice, stress-reduction, etc. I recommend a package of 3 visits: a 75 minute intake and 2-45 minute follow ups (which may be done by phone/video call if appropriate).
Herbal Medicine: Naturally support your health either on their own or as part of acupuncture or other wellness regimens. They contribute to your healing on a daily basis. I use herbs from the Chinese, European/American, and Ayurvedic systems of medicine. Sometimes using 1 or 2 time-tested traditional formulas or something specially formulated just for you.
Cosmetic Acupuncture: Addresses local wrinkles, sags and scars while also treating the whole person to help balance hormones, increase collagen & 'yin', relieve stress and support healthy aging.
Facial Rejuvenation Massage: Restorative massage to help relax your head/face/neck muscles, reduce puffiness by stimulating lymphatic drainage and increase blood flow to the connective tissues. Includes guasha or cupping and an essential oil compress with relaxing foot and/or hand massage.
